Easy Peasy

Tomatoe-Basil Cheese Pie: Great side dish during summer to use up tomatoes. Very tasty too. Got the recipe when a friend at work brought the cookbook to work. I'm going to have to buy this book now.

Totally Awesome!

There were so many to choose from on the rack in the shop I was in, but this title caught my eye. It is my "Go To" cookbook when I'm looking for a new way to use something I have in the pantry. Love it!

Busy Mom's

I grab this cookbook when I need a quick fix and haven't planned ahead. I can always find something that has the same five ingredients I have on hand.

My new favorite!

I LOVE this cookbook! So many quick and easy recipes ... and tasty! I've tried dozens already, and they've all been great. I went through and stuck Post-It's on pages with recipes I want to use. When I got through, there were Post-It's on about every other page! This cookbook, "5 Ingredients or Less!" is my new go-to gift for young people setting up their first home, bridal showers, and friends who cook like I do!

Best Book

This book is the best cook book that I have EVER purchased. I Immediately I thumbed thru the pages and found that this book is divided into seasons, in order to take full advantage of the seasons growing cycles. Cherry Lemon Limaide in Summer. Cranberry chicken in the Autumn.. Chicken and dumplings for those cold winter nights, and Citris suprize awaits you in the Spring. Beyond all of the wonderful recipes, they also give you tips that can turn ordinary household items into wonderful table displays. Mason Jar + unwrapped peppermint candies + a simple votive candle and some raffia string and you have a wonderful sweet smelling addition to your holiday table. If you are concedering buying just ONE book to give or you're like me and have an extremely tryng, busy schedule and you want something quick to serve. This book by the Great people from Gooseberry is your answer.

Cookbook, 5 ingrediants or less

This is a great cookbook, only uses 5 ingrediants or less and most you have around your household. Quick and easy meals for working wives or mothers.

Great cookbook!!!

I love this cookbook. It's my favorite Gooseberry Patch cookbook thus far. I plan my meals a month at a time and shop according to my list of meals for the month. I was able to plan 45 days of meals from this one cookbook. The recipes are easy to follow and have, like the title states, "Five ingredients or less", which makes the planning and preparing so much easier! I highly recommend this cookbook.

The easier the better!

I am definitely a "5 ingredients or less" type of cook, so therefore I really enjoyed the recipes in this cookbook. I like how they have it divided into seasons and am looking forward to making some of the winter recipes. I not only bought this book for myself but bought it for my future daughter-in-law too. I think it's a great cookbook for a bridal shower!

Yes, yes, and YES!

Thus far, everything in this cookbook is GOOD and HANDY (I have only had it a week or so, and have already used it three times, to the neglect of my other Gooseberry Patch cookbooks!) It's lots of fun just to read the recipes, which are both mouth-watering and almost TOO easy. Clear, simple instructions will please even the most novice cooks. I also loved how this book was organized by season: lighter, fresher dishes in the summer section; cozier, comfort-food dishes in the fall and winter. The recipes are also extremely inexpensive to make, and in many cases, by using the staples you probably already have. In other words, this book is a no-lose situation! I'd choose it as a gift for any newlywed, college student, or family-on-the-go. There are even really cute ideas for dressing up and changing flea-market finds, and other simple crafts and decorating ideas that even a fumble-fingers such as myself can handily accomplish. Only one very minor complaint...it seemed that some seasonings were left out of a few the recipes, simply to keep them under 5 ingredients. But the basics here are so good I wouldn't have minded if they called for 10 ingredients.

If you can only get one cook book ever GET THIS ONE!!!

My mother-in-law got me this cookbook for Christmas last year (what kind of a signal is that?! lol) and I love it! I know I'm not the greatest cook out there, but this cookbook has such great recipes (and so incredibly easy!!!) that even I get compliments on my meals, salads, appetizers, and desserts! My favorite is the 3 ingredient Speedy Peanut Butter Cookies--a big hit at my daughter's Vacation Bible School!

Love it!

This book is amazing! There are so many great ideas and because they are all 5 ingredients or less, they are feasible for cooks who don't have a lot of ingredients at home or who don't have a lot of time. The cornbread casserole is especially good!

The Best of the Best

During these trying times with gas prices soaring, this book has provided my family with PLENTY of yummy, CHEAP meals! I can buy so much less on a shopping list with these recipes than I ever imagined! This book is a must have for anyone, whether you are hit with hard times, just want something quick, and cheap, or just love to collect cookbooks. I have bought several copies for family members because they always call me for a recipe from this book! Thanks Gooseberry Patch for a wonderful cookbook!!

This book if Fabulous!

I am a working mom and don't have time for many ingredients or unusual ingredients so this cookbook is perfect. It is the one I keep coming back to when I need a recipe. The simpler the better. I highly recommend this book to anyone whether you are a seasoned cook or just beginning. I have over 30 of the Gooseberry Cookbooks and this is by far my favorite.

Weekly Meal Planner

This cookbook is one of my most used from my Gooseberry collection. I use it every day along side others Gooseberry cookbooks, it's simple and easy. Most recipes use ingredients normally stocked in the pantry. I use it for appetizers, meals, side dishes and desserts. In a pinch if I need to whip something up quick, this is my go to book. You will love it, I know I do!!

My daughters have helped make Homestyle biscuit bread, and other recipes they are 9 and 11 years old. They just love it when I say let's look for something new to fix they go right to your cookbooks and start looking. I am thankful for your cookbooks and have enjoyed them very much. I have given them as gifts as well.
