Gooseberry Patch has become our favorite cookbook, including this delightful addition. The authors once again deliver over 100 tasty meals, and in this fantastic issue, the recipes are created for stove-top cooking. My daughter and I will benefit a great deal with this cookbook, especially in summer months in AZ, where you prefer not to turn on the oven with the intense heat we get, especially on a day when it's 120 outside. We are thrilled to be able to enjoy several recipes, using stove-top cooking. The Contents in this cookbook include: QUICK & EASY, SLOWLY SIMMERED, and SERVES A CROWD. There are stunning, colorful photos of prepared meals, throughout the entire book. Each recipe also offers inspiring tips, and all recipes are easy-to-prepare. We already made the CHICKEN ROMANO, which was a sensation. We also made the SWEET HAM STEAKS & APPLES, so delicious, I'm making them again this weekend. Next on our list will be the HONEY CHICKEN & CARROTS, and I will leave updates with new recipes we make. This amazing cookbook includes: BEEF; FISH & SEAFOOD; PORK; POULTRY; SOUPS; SWEET TREATS; and VEGGIE. In addition, there are conversion charts, and each recipe includes the number of servings. The inspiring story of how Gooseberry Patch was born is on the last page. This cookbook is extremely useful with simple, mouth-watering recipes. We are thrilled to add it to our collection. A perfect gift for anyone who enjoys cooking. Highly recommended! |
