3 c. all-purpose flour 2-1/2 t. baking powder 1 c. sugar, divided 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. butter, softened 1 T. cinnamon
Sift flour and baking powder together; add 1/2 cup sugar. In a separate bowl, mix eggs, milk and butter. Add egg mixture to flour mixture; mix and knead together to form a soft dough. On a floured surface, roll out dough 1/4-inch thick into a 15-inch by 10-inch rectangle. In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and remaining sugar; sprinkle over dough. Roll up dough jelly-roll style; slice 1/2-inch thick. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for
15 to 20 minutes, or until golden. Serve warm. Makes 2 dozen.
